We are a Non-Profit National Weather Service Cooperative Observer station for Portage County governed by the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Green Bay Wisconsin. Our designated call sign is "PLOW3". Our primary purpose is to provide daily observation summary data and severe or inclimate weather observation reports directly to the National Weather Service, Broadcast Media, and the general public. |
We are based from Plover, Wi with an Automatic Weather Observation System (AWOS). The AWOS site is owned and operated by Timothy Bubla along Forest Drive South of Plover.
